PEAK Grantmaking Conference Session

Social Impact Commons team member Thaddeus Squire is thrilled to co-present at the PEAK Grantmaking 2022 Virtual Conference. Session description:

Place-based fiscal sponsors or Commons Managers (our term) provide centralized back-office infrastructure and capacity building support to localized nonprofit initiatives. Leveraging these intermediary platforms is increasingly recognized by philanthropy as key to delivering on longstanding promises for more equitable, efficient, and sustained access to resources in communities. Together, Carman Gaines from Local Color, Teresita Maz from BlueCross NC Foundation, and Thaddeus Squire from Social Impact Commons will share their knowledge of this nonprofit model and management platform and lead a group discussion on how funders can partner with fiscal sponsors/commons managers in the interest of greater equity, access, and impact.

This conference is designed for grantmaking professionals. More information on the conference and how to register may be found here.
