Fiscal Sponsorship - Facts and Fictions

Perception and reality are often conflated to the detriment of progress. Many "facts" such as it's natural and desirable for fiscally sponsored projects to “grow up” and “leave the nest” to become independent 501(c)(3)s are just long-held assumptions not backed by hard data. They exist because they are held sacred by those with money and power. We've seen these dynamics time and time again in the fiscal sponsorship field and think something should be done about it. Join us Thursday April 7th as we discuss both persistent and more recent myths and misconceptions (and some hard truths) that hinder the advancement of fiscal sponsorship. Then we'll collectively surface ways to address these knowledge deficiencies.
