Our Community
Our member community is also growing.
In FY24 we supported 62 active members, a growth of 200% in number of members from the previous fiscal year.
Our members support a community of 2,800 projects.
And represents diverse reach.
We saw higher representation at the local, regional, and international levels, than evidenced in the 2023 field scan sample data overall.
Our members offer diverse supports across varying portfolio sizes, and program life cycles: start-up, scaling, established, and winding down.

Direct advisory support to members

3,600 hours of advisory support, with 78% of all hours dedicated to finance and operations and the next largest portion (7%) to technology-related matters
Support to 4 members transitioning to our Sage Intacct platform and support to 3 other members in improving their respective Sage Intacct instances

Our growing member library offers over 50 self-service tools, templates, and guidance documents for fiscal sponsors accessed over 1,300 times in last year
Created more than 12 new guidance decks on topics such as:
Shared governance
Project governance and advisory bodies
Whole cost and portfolio analysis
Sponsor-project relationship management
Spin-out readiness assessment
Contract review and compliance

22 community conversations, attended by 630 unique participants, 30% of whom represented member organizations.
4 sessions at the annual National Network of Fiscal Sponsors conference in New Orleans, LA.
The rollout of a Jobs Board with over 50 job opportunities posted by the community and reviewed by over 3,500 unique visitors.
Delivering 16 webinars and trainings (30% more than the previous year) to funders and other nonprofits about the field of fiscal sponsorship and management commons practices.
Presenting at 7 nonprofit and philanthropic conferences and convenings.
Working with Candid offering guidance and input on the expanded capabilities of their platform, which will allow for both sponsors and projects to be visible. The pilot is planned for 2025.

100% of respondents say our work has either positively impacted their practices (89%) or for many newer members "too soon to tell" (11%);
Overall we received a Net Promoter Score of 70 out of 100.*
