Fiscal Sponsorship as Solidarity Economy Solution

Today solidarity-based principles of organizing and building economic models are the focus for many historically disenfranchised communities. These include cooperatives, mutual aid societies, and other related structures. Often, solidarity approaches situated in the nonprofit sector are excluded from these conversations. We feel fiscal sponsorship, practiced according to the right values and principles, can offer a powerful (and empowering) addition to the solidarity economy toolkit. Join us for a conversation about how mutual and intentional community ideas are modeled in the fiscal sponsorship community.

This session is an Interview & Discussion relating to the subject of JUSTICE in our forthcoming position paper Reimagining the Sector - The Case for Fiscal Sponsorship. This conversation is relevant to all fiscal sponsorship models.
