Structuring for Scale Part 1 - “Model L” and Other Approaches

For fiscal sponsors, scale is not just a matter of the number of projects under management. It often entails bringing on projects of substantial size and complexity–in some cases projects that are larger than the entire sponsor organization at the time of intake! Many sponsors also reach for multi-entity structures to separate out and organize support for specific types of projects, support other exemptions, such as 501(c)(4), mitigate risk, and other reasons. Join us for a presentation and discussion about multi-entity fiscal sponsorship structures.

This session is a Presentation & Discussion relating to the subject of SCALE in our forthcoming position paper Reimagining the Sector - The Case for Fiscal Sponsorship. This conversation is most relevant to Models A, L, O, and B sponsors, but open to all.
