In early 2022, in collaboration with the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors, Social Impact Commons embarked on preparing for the first field scan of the field in more than a decade and the second scan ever completed. Our aim is to establish a baseline understanding of where the field is today–its depth, breadth, and contours–and set the stage for deeper study and insights in the interest of supporting field-wide advocacy to the nonprofit leaders and the funding community.
