As the needs mount ever higher for social justice advocacy, fiscal sponsors can be a powerful resource for this work. Navigating the legal and compliance challenges around advocacy work is challenging. We will look at a range of solutions for sponsors and their projects, from allowable activity under public charity status, to (c)(4) affiliates and subsidiaries.
